Site Governance Team (SGT)


Emerson Site Governance Team (SGT) is an elected, decision-making group made up of parents, teachers, the principal, school staff, and community members who work together to discuss and plan for all aspects regarding teaching and learning. They design and implement effective strategies for the continuous improvement of all students' achievement through high-quality teaching and learning experiences at school. 

SGT members act as an advisory body on issues other than major categorical programs. Emerson's SGT provides a shared decision-making group empowered to plan, problem solve, and make recommendations to improve the quality of education and working life at Emerson.

All meetings are open and parents/guardians are welcome to attend.
